Discuss
with your faculty adviser the appropriate selection of psychology courses,
based on your interests and your career plans.
In
addition to your introductory psychology course, consider taking basic courses
in: developmental psychology and abnormal psychology
Take
psychology-related skills courses: interviewing, behavior modification, field
experience, or practicum in your area of interest
Develop
good writing and speaking skills. Use your college career center to learn
resume writing and interview skills.
Consider
a minor that is skills-oriented (e.g., business, journalism, laboratory
technology, electronics, computers, commercial art).
